0. Preface

Being stuck at home during the pandemic made me want to find something to tinker with, so I picked up a new case and decided to build a system in it just for fun. The hardware itself was still the same as before; see the post below for the full parts list.

I also bought a new GPU riser cable and a 120 mm AIO cooler. As a side note, the custom PSU cables I originally prepared for the C24 happened to fit this case surprisingly well too.
1. Exterior
Compared with the C24, I still prefer the C24 overall. Once fully assembled, the inside of the C24 also ends up looking cleaner.

2. The Build

1. Standoffs
Install the four motherboard standoffs and the two riser-cable standoffs on the center bracket. In the photo, the two shorter ones are the ones used to secure the GPU riser.

2. Motherboard and PSU
At this point you can mount both the motherboard and the power supply.

3. GPU Riser Cable
The riser cable I bought is a 185 mm dual-reverse model. It has to pass between the motherboard and the center divider, otherwise it is not long enough. After routing it through, secure it in place.

4. Graphics Card
Now insert the GPU directly. Since the custom cables were not made specifically for this case, they look a bit longer than ideal.

5. Radiator
Mount the radiator to the bracket at the top. Make sure it does not sit fully flush against the end, because you need to leave room for one screw position. There is still enough space left to add another 120 mm exhaust fan if you want.

6. Wiring
From here, it is mostly about connecting all the cables. Once that is done, reinstall the radiator bracket and the build is basically complete.

3. Summary
This case is actually very easy to build in overall. Ironically, even though it is marketed as a water-cooling-focused case, the hardest part is squeezing the AIO tubes into place without making things messy.
If you used a low-profile air cooler instead, such as an AXP90, I think the interior could be kept extremely clean once the whole build is finished.
